1. General
Soccer golf is all about getting the ball into the hole in as few shots as possible. Along the way, you must navigate the course’s obstacles correctly, as described for each hole.
SOCCER CLEATS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELDS (GRUS FIELD SHOES ARE ALLOWED)
2. Conduct on the Field
Keep a safe distance from other groups.
Feel free to let faster players pass.
3. Order
Typically, the youngest player starts—followed by the others in order of age.
For the tee shot on later holes: the player who completed the previous course in the fewest strokes tees off first.
For subsequent kicks: the player whose ball is farthest from the hole takes the kick
4. Kick-off point
The shot is taken from the tee at the start of the hole
5. Out of bounds
White “out of bounds” posts are placed at certain spots on the field, and if the ball lands outside these posts, it is out of bounds. You go back and kick from the spot where you were kicking before the ball went “out of bounds.”
One penalty kick for going out of bounds!
6. Repositioning the ball
If you do not want to kick from the spot where the ball lands, you must always place it back at its last position with a penalty kick.
7. Kick Rules
The ball may only be moved with the foot; all types of kicks are allowed, except for carrying the ball.
8. Marking the ball
If a teammate's ball is in the way of a kick, you can ask the teammate to temporarily move the ball out of the way. After the kick is completed, the teammate's ball is put back in place.
9. Maximum number of kicks
The maximum number of attempts per hole is the course par multiplied by 2.
If you don't make the hole within this number of attempts, you receive a penalty stroke.
10. Out of bounds on other holes
If the ball lands on the fairway or green of another hole, you are out of bounds and must replace the ball at its last known position.
If your ball lands in rough that is not part of your own course, you are also out.
You're not on a trail.
One penalty kick for going out of bounds!
